We have lived and worked on our farm since 1959. Tony Kozlowski grew berries and his wife, Carmen "Mammy" to her grandkids, slow-cooked them over an open kettle to make her old-fashioned jams and no-sugar-added fruit spreads.
When you're this close to the land and the food you eat, sustainability is more than a state of mind. We have been farming organically since the early 1990s. Organic farming is about enhancing environmental quality for future generations through things like the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water. Kozlowski Farms became one of Sonoma County's first certified organic farms in the 1980s. We were certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers (C.C.O.F), and remain so today.
